Polyurethane Foam
Polyurethane (PU) foam is the product of a chemical reaction, involving the polymerisation of isocyanides and polyols. Other additives can be used to improve the stability in difficult environments and other properties of the polyurethane products. PU foam is rated based on density and the degree of firmness with the higher the density, the more durable the foam becomes. Low-density flexible foam is used in upholstery, bedding, and automotive seating.
We produce foam in batches in open-topped moulds and it is then cut to the desired shape and size for use in a variety of applications. We can also manufacture crushed foam which is used to fill furniture cushions. In addition, any foam left as waste from our daily production is compressed and strapped in bales to be sold as scrap foam.
We produce flexible polyurethane foam of different sizes in pieces, sheets or in rolls of different densities ranging from 20kg/m3 to 40kg/m3 for both normal and high resilience.
